Yuutaga´am ol - Bear Man

The traditional Tsimshian Totempole out of red cedar, represents three important mythical stories of this culture. The main figure on the bottom is from the story of how a princess was taken by a bear spirit clan, for making offensive remarks about them. In the story she was called:

PART SUMMER – RHEESPUNT.
